Sabine holds a PhD in design research and supports international governments seeking new approaches and methodologies for policy design and policy implementation.

Her theoretical and practical work bridges human-centered design, interaction design, management research, policy studies, and organisational theory. She has been thoughtfully involved in the development of design in the public sector from its very beginning and has been, among other things, a long-time member of the scientific advisory board of Mindlab in Denmark.

Her recent projects involve Public Innovation Labs in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, often in collaboration with OECD, Nesta (UK) and Design for Europe (UK).
