Luca Reinhold holds a BA in Design + Change, designed and taught by Linneaus University in Småland, Sweden. In her bachelor's thesis, she focused on the land and interest conflict between iron ore companies and the local indigenous Sámi people in northern Sweden. In doing so, she reflected on the colonizing actions of the Swedish state and brought the complex concepts into a haptic interactive exhibition called “Blood of the Earth - Stories of Iron in (extr)activist times.”

In 2021, she founded the “Bürgerinitiative Tschüss Erdgas” (Citizens' request Goodbye Natural Gas), which successfully campaigned for the acceleration of Potsdam's energy transition. She maintained and moderated the initiative for over 3 years and was in close contact with the administration and municipal companies.

Since 2019, she has been volunteering at the Drachinzeit association. This association offers young people (aged 13-14) a space for growing, reflecting, and connecting with themselves during the time of transition to adulthood.

At Politics for Tomorrow, she works as a project manager for the workshop series, where she can apply what she has learned and build new skills to find out where her journey will take her next.
