The Seneca.gov Sector Network offers GIZ employees a platform for regional and technical knowledge sharing, collaborative learning and innovation with the aim of improving the quality of project implementation. Politics for Tomorrow has developed a course in ‘Public Service Design’ in this project. The course, which comprised 7 full workshop days both online and onsite and further intensive support for the almost 20 participants, had three learning objectives.
- Understanding the concept of public service design and how it differs from other service design methods such as design thinking.
- Applying the methods and understanding when to apply them.
- A basic understanding of how a public service design process can be managed with public employees.
