The Netzwerk der Wärme was initiated by the KARUNA Social Cooperative in collaboration with the Berlin Senate. The project is part of the Berlin Relief Package, designed to support the residents of Berlin in coping with the upcoming winter amidst rising energy and living costs. The Netzwerk der Wärme comprises places for social interaction, exchange, self-help assistance, cultural activities, and counseling in the neighborhoods. Politics for Tomorrow's task was to design and conduct scientific support in collaboration with Dr. Robert Jende (Anstiftung) and manage the project. This ensured that the insights gained from the network would be accessible for future crises.
